ok sweet thats a relief... can i rewire the existing fog lights to work with the bumper fogs? or would i be better off to jsut get aftermarket kit and install with the bumper?

You'll have to get S4 grilles and fogs. They're a design unique to the S4 and the A4 grilles and fogs will not fit. Or you can forego the fogs and grilles, cut the crossbars out of the grille openings, and leave them wide-mouthed like the RS4. Looks great.

S4 bumpers don't fit right on perfectly to a4's.

For an a4 being converted to a s4 front bumper:

8D0 807 103 J Bumper Cover (CAN spec is "P")
8D0 807 683 G Lower center Grille
8D0 807 346 L Lower Right Grille (CAN spec is "M")
8D0 807 345 L Lower Left Grille (CAN spec is "M")
8D0 807 977 Plate Filler panel

Fog lights are not the same, the mandatory parts would be:

8D0 941 699 C Left Fog Lamp (US spec)
8D0 941 700 C Right Fog Lamp (US spec)

Impact dampters have a different part number, but you don't need them from what has been said over and over again. In case anyone is being that **** though:

8D0 807 271 C Left Impact Damper (CAN spec is "A")
8D0 807 134 C Right Impact Damper (CAN spec is "A")

Also, if you want to ugg up the bumper:

8D0 807 285 C license plate bracket

I think that you may need more since you are prefacelift.

The fender liners are a little different too I think, if you want it to be perfect. I don't think it's worth it all especially if you're buying new.

and like i said in the beginning, im not really looking to modify this for power gains as this is also the car being used with my daughter in it as well.. her safety is more important than my want for a faster car
