Default Wheel fitment question/issue

Hello Audiforum members!

Any help or links would be much appreciated as I couldn't find very much. Anyways, I recently obtained a set of 17x7.5 b5 rs4 replica wheels et35. They are currently mounted with 255/55/17 and I test fitting in the rear and are running. I'm just curious if its at ally possible for me to run these at stock height with sport suspension? Would I need spacers? What size for front and rear?

Any help is much appreciated!

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

who chose that tire? its wrong size i believe i think the 55 might throw off the rotational mass. Also how did they fit a 255 on a 7.5 wheel? this sounds liek a weird looking combo. the offset will work tho.

thats a pretty big tire for those wheels... I have the same replica wheels and my 235.45.17's are pretty fat on them... I definitely wouldnt go wider than a 235. I dont know if the wheelwell can fit anything wider

Hey guys,

I checked out the tires again and I misread the size, its actually 225/55/17. I test fitted both front and rears. They both rub just a little. Would you suggest I use wheel spacers? Like 10mm/15mm in rear and 8mm in front.

Also, LivingLegend, for your 235/45's do you require spacers? Or have any rubbing

thanks

Terry

And so I'm at an ultimatum here guys. 55 wall size is too big. I have two options, dismount tires and sell to get new ones or sell wheels as a set and purchase a different style. OP?

Sell the tires at least - that's the stock size on the D2 A8, so you might even sell them on here.
