wheel hub help!
lemme give you the story, then my problem.
last Sunday a friend and i attempted to put on my new wheels, but came to find that 2 of the lug bolts were actually frozen to the point where we had to drill off the heads to just get the stock wheel off. after we drilled the heads off, took the other three lugs off and pulled the wheel, we drilled the rest of the way through bolts, hoping to be able to somehow get the rest of the bolt out.
now for my problem.
in two of the holes in the hub there's basically a thin layer of metal coating the threads, making the two holes useless.
my question is do you think some shop could run a tap into the holes and just push the leftover metal out? or just end up taking it to the dealer and pay the arm&leg and let them do it?
