Default Where is the Central Locking Module located?

Hi

I cannot seem to find the Central Locking Control module in my 1999.5 Audi A4.

I am having an issue where all my windows and sunroof don't work but the locks do. I get power to the window motors and continuity on all leads. I have a Hayes manual but no where does it point to the location of where this module actually is.

Can someone point me to the right location?

Thanks

The locks are controlled by the CLP (Central Locking Pump) located in the trunk. I believe the windows & Sunroof are simple switches and relays.

Have you checked all applicable fuses and relays?

Hi

thanks for the input, im not interested in the locks. The locks work. The windows are not rolling down. My book points to a “centre locking control module”. What exactly is this

i have checked fuses. I cannot find info on what is the correct relay. No relay info in my Hayes manual and the videos & tutorials online are incomplete. “Lots of “mystery” relays. Can you tell me which relay is correct?

thanks again

The central locking module is in the trunk on the passenger side. You have to pull back the trunk lining and you will find it near the fuel door. While the locks work on a air pressure/ vacuum system, there are a number of electrical components that also run through the module, so it is reasonable that your window issue could be related.
