my speakers are horrible! i have the base 1/4 of the way up n they still rattle. trying to find an online store to purchase all except tweeters. any experence with a vender?

Do you mean that you want to buy the Bose system that came in some of our A4's? I have it in mine and (like many Bose systems) its not really all that great. It really doesn't have much bass at all, even with the rear deck "subs", the high end isn't too great and I think the whole thing sounds as if its coming more from behind me than in front of me, which isn't what you want. I'd recommend putting in an aftermarket system over the Bose any day. One of these days, time and $$$$ willing, I'll be upgrading my Bose system to something else. My plans are to start simple and put in some good components in the front doors and subs in the trunk, that's all you really need, speakers in the back doors aren't really needed if your fronts are good. In the past, I've had good luck with sonic electronix (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/) with stuff that I have ordered from them, it came on time and I always got what I ordered and their prices are usually good.

 

I bought a Pioneer double din DVD head unit with 4 speakers,2 front and 2 back,i have the wire harness and the Radio antenna adapter,all of this set me back $500.00 and i don't even have a sub woofer or a amp,sheesh...this is getting expensive @ : o\)>

I just haven't had the money to have a shop install it,gonna wait until my money isn't funny -_-
