i have a 2000 a4 with leather and just had a sub installed. the installers who did the job ripped my seat and agreed to order a new one. i found a seat from a 2001 with power, heat and leather. they had to order it out of house and it did not have a picture. my interior is grey and the description said the new seat is grey. i just want to be sure the 01 seat will fit and if the color should be the same as my interior. any information will help, thanks.

 

99.9% sure it will fit, I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't. I'm also fairly certain the colors should be the same, too.

Do you already have power/heat? Or did you leave it out of the description of your seat because you don't?

 

oh forgot to mention that, i have leather, heat, power, and the movement on my seat was starting to fail so glad i am getting a new one! i dont know how many interior colors there were for these years but hopefully there were not different shades of gray

 

The only thing that determines if it'll fit or not is power vs manual since the rails are different. It should work fine.

 

junk yard called me and said the seat was no good and cant get any in the same color. where can i find a seat? should i go on ebay or try other junk yards? anyone have ideas?
