minor modding? what would that include?

 

My setup came off an '02 S4, it was all of the piping from the post cat connectors (where the two pipes turn into one) with the resonator (some call it a mid muffler) and the tail muffler. It was all bolt on except the stock slip connector at the post cat area was a shave smaller than the piece of the S4 piping that was supposed to slip inside it, so the muffler shop just had to cut the slip piece off my stock piping and re weld it onto the S4 pipe and then it just slid right in and life was good. I'm sure you could get just the muffler off an S4, it would have to be welded on just like any other after market muffler. I think I have the pics of the finished product in my album from my profile, you can go look there to see how it looks if you want.

 

alright i checked out your album(nice audi btw looks ****) i think im gonna buy the muffler and try to get it on there some way.... and some exterior and interior neon LEDS as well

 

If you're buying a muffler, why buy anything other than Magnaflow? Or perhaps Borla ProXS if you, for some reason, want to spend more.

 

Well I went with mine purely cuz it only cost me 50 bucks for the bigger piping and Brüllen mufflers. I was going to get a magnaflow til that deal came up.

 

So the S4 muffler is bigger or something? W/o the piping to go with it, it wont do much...
