a rivet gun? to replace the entire regulator? or just the broken plastic mount? I can't imagine needing a rivet gun to replace a standard regulator...

yeah, it sucks... i hate it when a regulator goes out.

I see exactly what you mean. I just broke two drill bits trying to get those ******* out. I drilled out the centers but they didn't collapse on themselves the way I hoped they would. I'm throwing in the towel for tonight and tackling them again tomorrow. Do you have any tips on how to get those rivets out of there?

i did the same thing, only i guess we had better luck or some good drill bits or something. i haven't even done one in forever.

I might get a gun and shoot em out point blank. If it works out well, I'll post a DIY.

got those damn rivets out and got the new regulator in Friday after work, right in time to head to SD for the weekend. those things were a pain in the ***, but they're out and my window is working again.
