So my headlight switch broke (not the typical issue of the headlights not working but it was actually my interior backlights and half of my tailights), so i order a new switch from ECS. I pull out my old one and go to put the clock spring back on the new one and the clips on the clock spring dont line up. Turns out the places for the clock spring to attach to are just slightly different than my old one (and the only other difference is that the turn signal stalk has a P on the new one, im guessing for European parking lights or something). I tried to see if i could switch the components of the new one into the body of the old one but they are too different on the inside.

Anyway, the old one has a bunch of model numbers and one that even has the 4D0 953 513 except for mine has an N (they only have a blank, A, B, and C listed on the new one) added to the end of the model number. ECS lists that it will work with all B5's. Im wondering if anyone knows where i can get one that works other than the dealer?
ECS has sent me the wrong drain plug, wrong oil filter before and now this, its really annoying, maybe its just me and theres more i should be checking?
