These brake pads just saved my life!

I was driving about 60mph on a four lane divided highway when someone abruptly veered into my lane causing me to quickly steer out of the way and fishtail into a small parking lot in the median. I was able to come to a complete stop in an incredibly short distance right before a ditch.

I was furious, but very happy to be alive.

Thanks. I had to restrain myself a little bit after that. Didn't want to wind up in jail several hundred miles from home. I did, however catch up to the guy and had myself, along with everyone else in the car, give him the one finger salute.

Forgot to mention that the driver had his foot resting on the window right behind the side mirror the whole time. I guess almost causing a pileup wasn't enough of a reason for him to move it and pay attention to where he was going.
