Yes, if they have not been replaced yet, Audi will cover it. Check your VIN on the site below then call an Audi service department.

Audi Recall and Campaign Search > Recalls and Service Campaigns > Audi Service > Audi of America

Yes there was a recall. thats why i told you to replace them. If they havent been replaced odds are the coilpacks are bad. You will go into limp mode no power. AKA flashing check engine light. (flashing cel)

I guess it wasn't for all audi's cuz i put my vin number in there and it says there was no recall on my vehicle. I checked back on the service records too and it seems the ignition coils were changed anyway about 3 years ago...
