02 A4 1.8T noob questions
i think it's funny you can't go more then a sentence without mentioning your mustang in someway.
My little brother had a 68 fastback and i had a friend with a 93 and a 06 (both GTs) and they were all pretty nice cars in there own way but in the end they are all just american crap if you compare it against any of the euro mfgs. my own opinion of course but i wouldn't be surprised if that is the majority feeling on this forum for some reason.
nothing against you for loving your stang but you don't need to keep bringing it up because it only sounds like your trying to brag about having a mustang when thats not something anyone here really cares about.
i'm an a$$hole when it gets late. no hard feelings!

Personally, I like to put Bosch into my car. I find that it does a lot better as far as performance goes. Along with better gas milage. Autolights I find work better with domestic cars, which is why your mustang probably did so well with them. So I'd say either Bosch or NGK are the way to go for that car. Both you can get at around or the same price as Autolight. I really like spending the extra 20 bucks for the iridiom(sp) plugs. You won't have to worry about gapping so no worries with misfires due to improper gapping. And they last much much longer then most of the other plugs. Just some thing to consider.
Also I've heard that with this year car. Using Castrol Syntec 5w-40 is the best you can do to avoid any sludge problems. I just got my engine replaced because of the problem, and when I asked about the oil, they said nothing could prevent it better(at least in their eyes) then Castrol.
Again personally I've always put Catrol Syntec in my cars. And they have always ran beautifully. And I believe that it all has to do with oil, and oil additives.

Was it the Audi dealership that recommended Castrol? I used that once for an oil change because the codes matched and it worked fine. Didn't think that was the preferred oil amongst the experts though.
i hate the mustangs with the fake hood scoops! i saw a shelby GT at the dealer $41k + $10k exotic vehicle surcharge and it was sold! just a regular GT with shelby stickers, shifter and exhaust and it had a fake hood scoop riveted to the hood... sad...
