Ill try make it simple. I have a Audi a4 2003 quattro. As we know the power is ok however not nearly enough.

The question is how can i increase the power without spending a fortune?

Is it possible to boost the turbo without doing anything to the computer (ie just put a boost controler)

should i get an exhaust (only want sound when it opens up), air filter, chip??

Are those "increase power for your car" things on ebay any good??

Like i said i dont want to spend to much. im in australia (sydney) so if anyone can help that would be great.

The best place to start (besides the search button) is chipping your ecu and getting a better flowing exhaust.

 

on top of that add a upgraded dv to compensate for the extra boost and test pipe. As for a MBC, yes it can be done, but being it doesn't have the proper software to go along with it. You will be pushing the K03 harder and cutting the life span in half.

 

Diode mod will up the boost to 17-19 psi safely with an mbc, vag-com and boost guage. DV reco'd. Geez, does anyone use the f**ken search button anymore

 

Get a chipped by one of your local tuners in your country.

 

I agree with the chip. I went with Revo like 2 months ago and wish I would have done it alot sooner. made such a huge difference!

MBC = Manual boost controller

DV is the same thing as a BPV = ByPass Valve
