Hi Everyone,

Last night went to drive my A4 (had been sitting for a week) and my radio didnt work. The display lights up and shows the tuner, I can switch stations but no sound. It also does not recognize I have a CD in the indash stacker...cant load or eject or play. I checked the amp in the passenger side trunk and it is getting constant power as designed but no power to the remote on/off. When I turn the car off you can hear a clicking sound coming from the amp that continues for several minutes after the car is off. I put a test light on the remote on/off and the light goes off and on in sync with this clicking sound...hmmm. I tried pulling the radio fuse and disconnecting the battery...no luck. I charged the battery for fun overnight with it disconnected and still no luck this morning.

I took the car for a drive and suddenly my dome light stayed on, locks didnt work, and windows do not work. I again took the battery on and off and now everything works but the windows...none of the switches..driver, passenger, and rear.

I am stuck and need some help please.

 

Sounds like the comfort control module.

Check under the passenger seat and see if it is damp - the module is under the carpet here (B1t.h to get at).
