Hello to all, I'm planning on buying a 03' avant MT with 107k by the end of the month. I'm currently waiting on all maintenance records. What needs to be seriously looked at prior to buying. I plan on getting a PPI done for safe measure. The car is about 800 miles away from my home and I would be driving it home after purchase. The car is located in Indianapolis. Also does anyone recommend or know a reputable shop to have the PPI accomplished. My plan for the future is to learn the car then move into the medium performance range. K04 kit, complete exhaust, diverted valve, snub mount, upgraded I/C hoses,tb lines. This is assuming the h2o pump,timing belt,hoses and whatever anyone here considers a must before moving the car.
