Default 04 A4 1.8T Maintenance

So I have been reading some stuff on here to get familiar with my car. I have 75,000 miles and made an appointment with wolf dms to get the timing belt changed after what I have read about when to have it done. And as luck would have it I got a check engine light today also...lol, Sooo... I ordered a MAF sensor and my coil packs, and I decided to go ahead and change the o2 sensor as well. Anyone have anythoughts on the situation I could use the feedback.

What type of feedback do you need. Have you read the fault codes yet??

+1 go to any AutoZone and check your car for codes for free and then post them up.

Ok....So. I just bought this car from a private party. I was in iraq and looking for a decent car to buy that got good gas mileage when I got back. So..I see this Audi A4, that I obviously purchased. I talked to the owner and he seemed like a cool guy...he told me ohh its a great car and how he has kept up with the servicing and what not....blah blah blah. So i buy the car. Being the totally ignorant person to the car I have just bought I'm all excited. A friend of mine has a VW Jetta 1.8t and tells me about the timing belt and that i should change it because of my miles. So I do a little research(because i am totally retarted about my new car), I make the appointment as said in my first post. Not 2 hours later I get the check engine light. Went to WOLF DMS today. Found out this car has been neglected. I am lookin at not only the timing belt I was going to do anyway, but rebuilding the axles, and multiple vaccum problems...along with low coolant, low engine oil(but at least he used fully synthetic), and i decided to do a transmission flush and filter change.I honestly felt bad for the car, but Its gonna be done on monday and it will be good to go. Then I can think about maybe some possible small upgrades.
