Default 1.8t b6: heard a pop and car won't stay on for more than 20 seconds... Please help

So I just got off of work and was driving normal. I have a k04ed 1.8t with a couple of mods. Driving up the on ramp to the highway and I hear this pop and I loose power. Battery light comes on but battery is fine. No leaks coming from under car.

Ill try to crank it but it dies after 20 seconds tops. Ill rev it and try to keep it alive but eventually dies. Pop sounded like when you fill up a air balloon till it pops but of course louder. Don't hear any knocks but when I start it you see some smoke coming up from turbo side (Not alot). One thing that is weird is that my gas gauge needle keeps going up.

My buddy and i are checking it tomorrow but just wanted some feedback.

I really don't think motor blew because it just doesn't sound like it did so I'm puzzled. I pressed the "check" button and everything is full.

Not sure if it matters but I did seafoam car a week ago so not sure if that could of caused this.

Thanks for the input guys!

sounds like a boost hose came off or apart and that will kill it at idle.
