Can anybody help please , my cars lights were being intermittent then coming on again but now i've lost my wipers/Dash lights/Indicators & number plate lights. I know my battery needs replacing but would this affect only certain items? Any help would be welcomed as this is my first post.

Vag-com should help you determine what may be causing these problems. I would start there

 

take you car and see if autozone or advance pepboys can scan your car. That will give you some more direction to head with. But shot in dark would be a faulty moudule. did they all go out at once?
