Default 2002 Audi a4 1.8t quattro brake issue

Hi all,

Recently i have experienced a breaking issue with my car. I have replaced both of front break pads, calipers and hose .... But still if i travel for some distance my left tire gets heated up(very hot) , at that moment my brake pedal gets hard and a burning smell comes out from that tire. If i stop for 5 mins , and restart the vehicle , the problem disappears. I have taken it to Firestone people and even they weren't able to figure it out. All my break pads, calipers and hoses are new(installed them a week back). Can i know what exactly is happening and what is the fix for it ?

The tire gets hot, or the brake pads and rotors do?

Have not attempted to fix yet got new pads to put on. They lock as driving and get hot fast.
