So I purchased this car a few weeks ago from a friend with a leaking coolant flange. I got the car with no battery or stereo in it. replaced the flange. Put a battery in it, turn the key and nothing happens. Dash lights and everything else works. Check fuses and grounds and what not and can't find anything. When I turn the key it's not building fuel pressure either. Also the fans have a mind of their own and turn on and off as they please key on or not which I figure is a relay or controller. Any idea on where to start ? Car is a 5 speed

 

No clicking or anything and tried everything. Pumping the clutch, holding the brake, moving the shifter. I have no power to 28,32,34 fuse so I assumed it was a relay. Found more relays under ecu and found out they have been exposed to water so I'm gonna replace them and hope it works

 

Ok I decided instead of pulling the starter out to have it bench tested I simply jumped the starter and the car fired right up. Could it be an ignition switch or neutral safety ?

 

What was the issue?? Mines doing the same exact thing and i already replaced the starter. Need help….. Help please
