I have a 2004 Audi 1.8T Quattro. I recently had to replace a power window/lock module for the car to fix the problem i had with all my windows not working. $1000 laters all my windows work. This car hasnt given me too much of a headache but i'm worried it will. Today i was driving the car and it was shaking back and forth from the way the engine or transmission was running. When your in drive driving normally and you give it gas to about 3000rpm or more it would shake sort of like a misfire and the engine light will flash and eventually go off. Today i dropped it off at my mechanic and while waiting to pull the car into the shop i put it in neutral and reved it to 3-4000rpm and it didn't do anything. I'm really hopeing it has nothing to do with the transmission. I've replaced all the coil packs not too long ago from the awful coil packs stock on the car. I just hope its the smallest problem with minimal cost. Can anyone share a similar experience or maybe a guess on what is happening to my car!
