I have been looking at audi's since i was 16 (now 17) and my parents have finally agreed to allow me to get one. My parents and i have spotted an 04 ultra sport package blk/blk a4 in great condition. My parents said that the money is not a problem since its under 17000 and they want to see me in a safe, reliable car since i will be traveling to an from college. With all that said i have a couple of quick questions about the car. I live in vermont and will be traveling in/on both dirt and paved roads and through snowy and wet conditions. My questions are, since the ground clearence is lower than the regular a4 will i have any problems geting caught in deepish snow (less than a foot) or on potholes?

I don't think you'll have any clearance problems with the car since it was designed to look good but also be every day driveable. If it has Quattro than you also don't need to be worried about getting stuck anywhere.

 

Dirt and gravel will not ruin anything mechanically but you will get rock chips and stuff.Leave your belly pan on asthis will help withdirt and dust getting into your engine bay and stuff.Snow/wet conditions will be awesome but learn your cars limitations. If the snow packs under you car your AWD is useless since the 4 tires dont got traction. Get a good set of All Seasons or winter rims/Blizzakz

 

agree with the others, USP just looks lower, really isnt... also dont be over confident with quattro... it has its limits

Yeah, USP is not that low, + it has 18" rims.
Just get some good all season, or be a little baller and get the winter tires
