Default A4 Avant 1.8T quattro Issues

Recently joined the a4 owners club and its a real nice car, however there is a leak coming in via the passenger footwell behind the glove box. doies anyone have any idea if this is common or not?

Ive looked in the engine bay and all seems bone dry, nothing under or around where the leak is.

is there a drain which is blocked? and how do i get to it? otherwise im stuffed as i feel a particularly wet winter coming on in the UK!

Thanks
Dan

Do some searching and you will find some instructions.

If it is just water then likely your AC drain line is plugged. Fairly common.

If it is coolant, which would be obvious for the smell, then the heater core has a leak.

Fingers crossed that it is the first option!

Good luck.
