Starting yesterday my trunk has been popping open when I shout my car off. Stayed shut for a three hour drive today then as soon as I pulled up to the gas station it pops open. It will also only open with the button on the key. Thinking its the latch.. Anyone had a similar problem?

 

Wow! Never heard this one. I know the latches go bad and tend to not work when you press the button. I'd check the button for shorts if any, not on the remote, on the actual door itself. Doubt it could be the actuator, but one never knows.
