Hi guys, well it coming into Summer over here in NZ, so have started using my air conditioning, but there seems to be a low pitched wine from the pump I guess, when I turn it on. Is this normal? What are your thoughts?

 

Does is resemble a small duck repeatedly quacking? Because mine does that as well. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless the noise really bothers you.

 

Not really, just a continuous wine. Only noticeable at an idle.
