Mine came off the other day and stayed on for a whole day, then it dissapeared, I didn't get a chance to scan it.

Could be a loose connector under drivers seat.If so it can be tightened with a cable tie but the light will need to be cleared .Dont listen if you are advised to replace the airbag as I was by audi dealer.

You mean on the harness for the power seat? I'll check it out. Thanks.

This is just for the bag not the seat. On my B5 there was a block connector under the seat which is known to work loose just enough to turn on the warning light.About 4 years ago my local garage turned off the light and advised securing the block with a cable tie and ignore audi dealers saying new bag needed .Itnever came on again I assume there is the same block on a B6 which i changed to in July but I have never checked so would like to know if this works for you

Mine has been on and off from time to time but never stays on. I think mine is the connector or a loose wire. Thanks for the location!
