when u readjusted your snub did u make sure to first take the car off ramps or jacks and put it on level ground. Also once u get the car level u should no tighten the 3 bolts yet. U need to rev the engine a couple of times to make sure the snub is centered then tighten the bolts.

Motor mounts are broken and engine is hitting the subframe. You shouldn't see it move just from puttimg it in gear. I'm assuming you used oe style mounts and not solid ones. The solid mounts will give you the exact sympotms you're having

I did not use OEM Mounts. The actual ones are from FEQ. Does somebody knows if FEQ mounts are solid rubber?

Default Latest Option to reduce the vibration at drive/reverse

Today I bought all OEM mounts. Engine mounts and transmision mounts. I will get them from ECS tunning. ALL OEMs part. I had to paid $447.00 for all parts. They are very expensive. This is the latest option I have.

Genuine Part (OEM)
Left Engine Mount: $118
RightEngine Mount: $137
Transmision Mounts (2) - $77/each:$154
Total: $409 without shipping.

That's the cost for OEM parts(Genuine Audi), not aftermarket parts.

sounds like u got ripped off by stealership prices. there are plenty of cheaper alternatives that are just as effictive if not better then stocks mounts. not to mention b5 mounts that work perfectly fine in our b6 model that are also a bit cheaper.

There's nothing wrong with buying from napa, autozone, or advance auto. Its just a piece of metal with rubber attached, pretty hard to screw up.

and im just curious if ur replacing those mounts u should do the snub mount also. and if u replace them on your own like i said before dont tighten up the bolts right away. Let the engine rev and idle a bit to let them settle into place. If u dont follow this procedue u will almost for sure get vibrations.
