Audi A4 1.9 TDI replaced tandem pump- now no crank/start and no engine warning lights
I have just finished replacing the tandem pump. On first start up the engine ran for a few seconds. Second attempt it turned over. Third attempt “brakes” warning light on dash. Since then none of the electrics on the car seem to work. No lights in dash etc.
when replacing pump I disconnected battery. I attached a jump starter in case battery was flat.
I’m quite new to this so I wondered if anyone had any pointers on what to check next. Is the next step buying a fault code reader? I must admit I didn’t bleed the fuel lines.
Cheers, Tom
