Ok so I have the b6 model and the left front turn signal does not blink.
I have changed the right side complete headlight with working turn signal to left side and shows same problem. The amber bulb lights up when I turn the lights on but does not flash when I put the turn signal on.
I have also replaced the hazard switch in the middle of my dash with no luck.
I have also found the wire in headlight connector and added power to it with a tested n the bulb lit up.
I think there has to be a problem with the wire harness.
FYI the rear and side blinkers work on the left side. Just not the front bulb in the headlight.
If you have a wire harness schematics or think of something else that might be it please let me know.

Sure does. Now I got to find someone who can work it out. I don't get in to electrical.

 

I think they have some recalls on this one.. But might want to check some of the Audi recalls here are some list of it.

 

No recalls for my car. At least on that page.

I'm having the same issue but on the right side..
It's really annoying and I've been trying to figure it out for some time now

 

This may sound dumb but pull the bulb out, turn it 180 degrees, and reinstall it. You may have it installed "backwards" in the socket. It can happen and mess things up.

 

I currently have the same issue. 2002 B6, left front signal only. Side and rear do a rapid flash. Right side is normal. Did you have any luck resolving your issue?

 

I have the same issue (front left turn signal bulb is not blinking) on my 2002 A4. I bought another bulb, installed it, got in the car, and the bulb blinked properly. (I also physically saw the bulb blinking). So I shut the car down and went about my day.

Several hours later, I took the car out, got the OK signal on the dash...then made a left hand turn and got the dash failure display again..so I am back to where I was before, new bulb is not blinking.
