Does anyone know how to locate and clean the sunroof drains.
I guess a nice long piece of wire should do the trick!

 

I got the letter yesterday. My dad got one also, even though his is a cabriolet

We both keep ours garaged and have not experienced any issues, and really don't expect to.

There is another thread on this called "Class Action" suit, or something like that, for possibly more information.

 

I got the letter a couple days ago. I haven't had any problems thank God. But I'd like to check the drains myself.

Anyone know how?

 

Likewise - got my letter recently, and it would be nice, just for peace of mind, to be able to take a look and make sure I'm not about to have a big problem.

 

well, i got this letter and i have exactly the issue. there is the total of 6 drains on the car 2 under the hood ( under the battery and under the computer). 4 around the sunroof( 2-front 2 rear) the front sunroof holes are right in the corners of the sunroof sled if you open it you wont miss the hole ,the hose runs down the front pillars and im not sure if it exits at the door or underneath. the rear ones im kind of upset about because it looks like i have to drop the headliner to get to the holes, and i cant figure out how to. i already took down all the pillar covers as well as all the lights, visors ,handles and all the other misc. crap thats on it . but the headliner just wont come down , does anyone have any suggestions as to how does one get the headliner off. ohh btw the rear sunroof drains exit in rear wheel well so if you pull of the wheel and liner youll be able to find the hole
