Hi and thanks in advance for any help. i did my best to search

Long story short, my son picked up a 2003 1.8t and had a little fender bender last night.

The damage is isolated to the front drivers fender in front of the wheel. When the damage occurred the car was leaking water/coolant. Once I got the car home, I found a dangling hose and noticed the nipple snapped on what looks like a small electrical pump at the lower front behind the fender.

I assumed it was an aux pump for the turbo or something similar.

Am I correct? And if so, does anyone have a part number for replacement?

you sure its not for the head light washer?

 

It very well may be. I thought I smelled coolant when I grabbed the hose.

There's a "spewing fountain" Icon on the info center between the gauges.

 

Check the level of fluid in your coolant reservoir, it should be pink and full. The little spewing fountain icon is your washer fluid out. You probably broke the little headlight washer pump.

 

that spewing icon is the windshield wiper fluid res low.
