Smile LOL at no help

After lots of looking through threads on various forums, i saw that i need to do a throttle body adapt. I just recieved my Ross-tech Vag com cable and will be doing it tonight. I see why no one answered. If i don't have the vag com software..lol, i probably shouldn't have the car, right?..seems to be to underlying thought behind this type of question. Anyways... i will let to whom it may concern know what the results are and hopefully, since i am the proud owner of a fully licsened VCDS setup, i can be helped and thought to be authentic..lol i did notice one thing..when i turn the engine off, right near the vac. check valve next to the n80 cluster i hear a releaseing of air sound that lasts about 10 seconds.. I did replace the vac line there and not with what i should have, they were 2 differnt size connections. its the one that goes to the fuel rail from that black multi valve do hicky..you know..top right side of the intake manifold...any thoughts if the check valve is bad or just the poor connect? i have ordered silicone vacuum hose replacements also for the entire set up..much like the one that was torn during the intake manifold removal. hopeing that between the TBA and the vac line fix i should have a good running car. Also..i did have RP K04's put on when the Ko3's when bad about a year ago slong with timing belt service..ect... Is there a way to work more boost through the vag com interface or is that something the stage one programming can only fix? i ask because i found a rip in my TBB and replaced it with the 034 style from JHm, and may be anticipating lean conditions as per the techs heads up.
Thanks for any help..

Could this be as a result of the Intake manifold not being put on right? I did put spacers on...maybe they should come off?

Cool not all at once!!!LOL

thanks to all the help i recieved... i have got it all done, after all the re-clamping, hose replacing (not sure if any were bad though, but the red silcone looks cool) removing the spacer which was leaking due to some left on duct tape, choose to not put them back on, hadn't read much about big gains, and my vag com, learned a ton along the way (best part) me and my 2.7 became good buddies along the way..lol. All thats left is replacing a blown diverter valve and fuel filter that's gotta have 88,000 on it!. ordered 2 710n's gonna do them both to equalize them and because the old 710n is blown and the (old version) 710b the shop that did my turbo swap so graciously charged me $63.00 for isn't gonna cut it for me. It can be a good standby if i have another issue in the future. And i want to check the IC's for oil pooled from my blown K03's. Found oil residue in the intake manifold when i took off the Throttle body to give a good cleaning to it.

pretty sure though, that i posted my query in the wrong site area. ill let you slide for that. want to learn how to log so i will be asking questions soon. And im ordering a ATG manual from Ross-tech soon to guide me there. And im gonna look at buying a 98 A4 2.8 that needs work. Plan on rehabing it myself so, we'll see whats up there. Ciao

Default need help?

is this a repost for help or a re post by accident. My advice to you if you haven't gotten one yet is a vagcom and start peplacing things like diverter valves, n75, and vacuumn lines. in my opinion they all are weak over time and each will add back to your power.
