Battery was removed, now remote unlocker/locker won't work
#3
I have seen a couple HOW TO's on this:
Use your Valet Key and turn the car to the ON position but don't start the car. Then use your 1st remote and hit any button just once (don't hold it). After your light blinks..then hit the lock or unlock and see if it works...if so, you are done.
Repeat the above for a 2nd remote...just hit any button twice and don't hold it, so the light blinks twice and then hit the unlock or lock and see it works....if so, you are done.
Any more remotes you have just increase the hit any button step by 1 to identify the remote as #3, #4, etc...
NOW THE ABOVE DIDN'T WORK FOR ME
What I did with my car....is to put the valet key in and start the car. Let it idle for 2 minutes. Remove the valet key and put the remote key in and start the car...let it idle for 2 minutes. Upon removing the remote key, I hit the lock button and it worked.
Did the same thing for my other remote keys and it worked perfectly.
Good luck
