CIA makes the car sound throatier and you can hear the turbo whistle as well as the discharge of air from the DV every time you shift. It helps with performance slightly (increase hp and tq, as well as better throttle response). It's much lighter than the stock intake and improves fuel efficiency. And don't let me forget to mention that it looks badass under the hood with it's sleek carbon fiber cover.
I still cant justify spending close to 300 dollars on a cai when u can get a k&n drop in filter for 40 dollars take out the sound deadner and achieve the exact same affect. Same noise increase throttle increase though miniscule. I mean i rather throw that 300 at injectors and a free upgrade to stage 1+. But again thats just me.

May I ask, what would adding bigger fuel injectors, and using a stage 1+ chip in it do to the insurance of the car? Is something that small something that should be reported to the insurance company if you only have the state minimum coverage?

ive never had anyone report that they replaced the fuel injectors with large ones. and i work for an insurance company. Dont know if u have to report that in other states but in texas liablity is liability. Now if u are still under factory warranty with audi u might run into problems chipping your car and all.

Alright thanks. No factory warranty it anything. But I should be fine for the chip and fuel injectors you think? I don't wanna do something, not report it, and screwed if I have an accident. I also can't quite afford an insurance increase if I do have to report it. Haha.

best bet is to not get tickets or accidents. That will keep the rate down. But modifications on cars dosent matter. Its the year make model age that effects the rate. there are a lot of things that actually force your premium but not aftermarket mods.

thanks for the advice guys.. I ended up putting the new intake just cause my friend gave it to me for free, also put in a new blow off valve... that hiss when i let off the gas sounds soo much nicer now lol

Probably gunna get it chipped sometime soon, and I was thinking of a cat after that...
Right now though I want to get rid of the air vent and put in one of those sunpro boost gauges, but I can't seem to find one online somewhere? anyone know where I can find one?

The B6 engine is not designed to use a blow off valve. In fact a blow off valve damages your engine over time. Take that thing off and stick a 710N diverter valve or buy and aftermarket one. Either way get that thing off ASAP!!!!
