Thank you fire5414!
I really appreciate your help!

Could you please let me know where I can buy these parts/ from where you bought them?

I am thankful to you as this is my first car and i have very little idea about these things. The dealer's estimate is more than double the prices you have mentioned.

I have both the A6 and a 2003 A4 3.0. The 3.0 books at 7.5 hours compared to the 2.7T at 6 hours. I had the A4 done by my indie shop ($78/hr) and that included everything (TB kit including tensioners, valve cover gaskets, cam seal kit, waterpump and serpentine) and it was $525 parts and $585 labor. My A6 runs about $150 less. I have used puremsports and have seen a lot of recommendations for ecstuning. Make sure your waterpump has metal impellors, not plastic. You have to pull the front into a service position to access the TB or waterpump, so it just makes sense to do it all when you have it open. You try and save a few bucks and a part fails and freezes, you can lose the entire engine (valves hit pistons).

I got mine done at pure motorsports so they're the ones that got me the timing belt. Like ppgoal said, purems.com us a good place, and ecstuning. The previous page has a link to it. If you do this I would definitely recommend a timing belt service. And I forgot to have them do the valve cover/cam seals, crankshft seal. Looks like I have one more thing to do before I start modding.

This has everything you would need, minus the coolant.

Default Cheap parts

Sorry for posting in such an old thread but I haven't seen anyone post this website and I find it very helpful, alot of OEM parts and they are cheaper than anywhere else I have looked.
