Hello all

I've just purchased my first Audi 2003 a4 Avant Quattro 1.8t (163) last Saturday.

I bought it cheap and hope to spend some money on it doing it up a bit but overall it's clean and tidy with a couple of niggles.

My a class was playing up and ive bought a dog so it seemed a perfect car.

Bit of rust in front wheel arch which I'm sorting out, just waiting for the paint (Ming blue) LZ5L. Audi Bristol don't stock any spray nor do Halfords)

The rear ashtray is broken (read it always happens)

Front Arm rest catch is broken (as above)

Front driver arch as described

Small dent in driver door easy enough to remove dloor lining

Rear flap on the boot won't stay closed think I've got correct part numbers

Battery cover is broke (eBay £10) bought

3 Screws missing in plastic engine cover (part number anyone)

One thing I didn't notice stupidly was under the drivers mat the carpet is badly worn under the brake pedal. I can feel the floor only about 100mm hole, in the carpet. Any recommendations to fix his?

I'm not a mechanic but can do a few things if I have the correct info.

A spoiler eBay about £50 (will this fit straight on as the brake light over rear window)

I would like to get it remapped to give me a bit more power in low revs, turbo kicks in about 3k if possible

Would also like a new exhaust with A bit of a deeper noise,(bsr exhaust on eBay £559 5 year anti corrosion warranty) would cone filter help this also?

I've drove about 400 miles in in and it's been brilliant, comfy, lots of room for the little ones 5 & 2 and the dog fits in the back.

Sorry for the long post, I've read a few forums and watch videos online but a few more recommendations would be great thanks.
