Well i finally got the car on the lift and im guessing it could be my tires since their sort of bald. While the car was on the lift i started it and put it in gear to let the tires roll and my dad told me both my front wheels were not rotating straight but i didn't see how bad since i was in the car while my dad was under it. So my first step is getting new wheels and tires for now.

i have the same exact problem on my 05 audi. Only, it's sometimes.. Somedays its smooth as silk and some days its kind of rough. Took it to the dealer and an independent audi shop and they said nothing is wrong and that it's typical of lowering springs.

Jaw Knee, yeah i think im going to have the cv joints replaced first and motor mounts. Also Jaw Knee did you do the CV joints yourself if you did was it a PITA or did it go smoothly, i've seen DIY for it and doesn't look very difficult to do if you have the right tools but every time i work on the car i always run into another problem.

no i didnt do it myself, i went to the audi dealership here for those 2 jobs (cv, motor mounts) .. thats the only time ive ever gone to the dealership to fix an issue. every other time its been a local shop or ive done it myself. i think motor mounts are a PITA with any car though lol.. dont really know about cv joints. the cost at the dealer to do the fix was a cool $950ish. but that definietely fixed all the shaking only when pressing the gas. it happened again about 2 months ago.. it would shake when accelerating between 1-2.5k rpm's.. that was just spark plugs though.. replaced all 4 hours later.

I take back what i said earlier. I missed the part about "shaking when accelerating". I've noticed this *** well especially after I got my a4 chipped. When I accelerated fast, it would shake like you guys are describing. Someone suggested I upgrade the snubmounts. Would this help? Also, noob question, what are CV joints and where are they located?
