I just found out that my cv joint boot is broken on the passenger side. I just finished taking the whole hub out and everything else. Here are some pictures of the boot.

 

ok so the real reson why my car is shaking is because i need to replace either my front axel or some joints i forgot the name. but that is the problem why my car is shaking.

question- what if i dont get this fixed what the worse that can happen?

 

For your axle i wouldn't know, i heard our axles our preaty strong though. My guess its your cv boot check the inner and outer. If you think its your axle put your wheels of the ground and let the wheels roll to see if they dont rotate straight.

 

how much do u think the boot will cost at the dealership?

 

If its the part it was $20 bucks for me but i didn't get it from the dealership. If your asking for them to replace it i don't have a clue, call your dealer for a quote might be cheaper if u did a independent shop.

 

lol no i always stick to the dealer everytime i go an indi shop i always end up going back there in a week lol
