Default Chip and injectors plan

Hey guys, I am trying to layout a plan and respective total cost so I can save up for it.

My car, A4 B6 quattro automatic(shoot me) and it is a daily driver and I take frequent long distance trips hauling people/****

My plan:
Injectors
Chip
DV
Maybe a catback exhaust

Questions I had
1.) What's the word on ebay chips/ripoffs, i've of course been looking at the APR otherwise
2.) Can I just buy the injectors separate from lets say APR and the sleeves to mount them?
3.) What DV would you guys suggest, i'd be sweet to get a blow off hybrid, but not sure if I want to risk it.
4.) How is the reliability with injectors and a chip, any particular problems I should look out for or parts I should get all at once?

Thanks

say no to ebay chips. injectors are here and there. just make sure whatever injectors u get they work with whatever chip u buy cuz i think apr only uses tt 225 injectors or something like that. Just seach ur u will find out. And BOV either go forge004 if u want sound or alot of people i read use forge 007. im not to sure about the hybrid i think a some people use them check on audizine i know someone over there has a hybrid and says its great.

I did the APR Stage 1 +. Went from 129hp and 158lb/tq at the wheels to 188hp and 234lbs/tq at the wheels.

APR tune, Bosch Injectors, APR diverter valve and k&N filter + install + dyno time all cost $1600 bucks. But the gains were well worth it as you can see.

I have about 3500 more miles(27,500) after the install and my turbo is starting to whine at idle. I'm sure it will take some time to actually burn it out but i definately notice the whirling noise frm it allot more since the tune.

I think all in all it's reasonably safe but not to beat on it. It hasn't affeceted my gas mileage at all.

1.) Ebay, NO!! Would you look for your wife on ebay? Look into APR, Revo, Giac, or Unitronics
2.)Yes, you can get TT 225, Siemens, or Genesis injectors. Some people use aftermarket injectors and are fine while others have idling issues and such.
3.)Forge DV will work. If your looking for noise get a K&N cone filter for your intake. If you had a manual, I'd say get the forge splitter.
4.)My $.02 upgrade the coilpacks to "E" version and get a TP or HFL to compliment the ecu flash.

opps HFL should be HFC

So what year is your audi? Is it an 01 on up with 170hp or was it a pre 01 that was 150?

hey guys i am also really interested in doin the same thing this guy is doin. first things first is that i have an 04 a4 1.8t auto and it has 65000 miles on it and i think i got the rest of this year with warrenty so i plan to mod it in the summer. i am thinking of APR or GIAC and revo is my last choice but i would also get injectors and inake and maybe exhuast. i really wanna know if anyone has this on theres and has driven it for more then 15000 miles with these mods on and if u had problems what were they and would it be worth it to do with my car?
