I would do the "joey mod" first because once its all open you can just pick the orange lens out. As for me, I did the clear corner mod first, and then I wanted to black out my housing and realized I couldve done all this at the same time, but oh well.. works either way.

 

how in the hell did u black all that out? and no errors here they are 12v compatible. just plug and play

 

That pic was when I didnt have the lens on yet, I just put the back portion of the headlight in place to see how it would look like without the lens. lol it looks alright but better with the lens. The joey mod isnt all that hard, it only took 2 hours to complete, and results are perfect.

 

how do u take the lens out?

 

I used a 1500 watt heat gun to melt the silicone holding onto the lens, flathead screw driver to pry the flaps up then pry the lens apart after. This project will take a long time if youre not patient, and believe me.. it was a pain to take the lens apart because the glue is so hard. Dude, can you give me some broken down barney style instructions, I want to do the clear corner mod but I am a Marine and a little worried about having something go horribly wrong.

 

okay do u know how to take ur light outta your car? If not ill c if i can take some pics soon. Ive seen people do things different ways and i did my my own way i guess. if u search the forums audizine audiworld audi diy there will be alot of info of this.
