Default Clutch Question?

Hey guys I need a new clutch for my car its a 02 A4 1.8t, What I want to know is what year bracket do i have to stay in when buying a kit. Ive been shopping online ,but so many places say different things. Example 97-05 1.8t cltuch kit? Is this true that a clutch would fit all those years? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I would Call ECS tuning, they will help you with any questions you have on it, i have purchased my stage clutch, turbo, exhaust, and intercooler from them. Amazing service! I would also go wth a stage two clutch not a puck clutch but a stage two, it isnt much heavier than stock and in my opinion you can tell the diffrence!

Default RE: Clutch Question?

if you search you will find hundreds of nightmare stories from ECS, i will NEVER ever buy anything from them after waiting six months for my rotors, they continually lied about when they were shipping and if they had already shipping. i also got a defective APR R1 that they told me to shove off on. i would hate to have clutch problems with a company like that

if you plan on doing a clutch, southbend is the way to go. if you are staying stock, OFE HD is a good choice, if you are upgrading power, OFE SS or FE SS.. email nick@autobahnexotics.com if you want some good service!
