There was some carry over from 2001.5 to the 2002 models. The 2002 has a lot of differences from >2003 B6's (mechanicaly, not body style). ECU is different, especially.
In any case, the latest push-in type of coilpack revision are the "R" (last letter of the part number).
I prefer "E" coils, myslef, which are the bolt down type. I've had multiple failures with the "R"'s, but my Hitachi "E" bolt downs are smooth and no problems at all.

Yeah but I do not recall seeing bolt holes on my head for that type of coil. The coils I would be buying are the "L" class and not R or E. Hopefully they should work out... [:-]4 for $50 you cannot go wrong =)

the engine in the 01 is the same thing as the b6's. its the 06A block and smaller port head w/ vvt.

Hey Bustanut,

Your ride is very similar to mine. Same color, lowers painted, Neuspeed stainless dual exhaust, brembo rotors, APR chipped, HP Evo Gunmetal 18's on mine however. I have no S side effects or aftermarket front cowl either. I am on a mission now for a badgeless grill now. Very nice ride man.

Thanks on the props. Lowers came painted from factory on 2004.5. My front is stock Audi USP, but I shaved the seams on both the front and rear bumper to make them both appear one-piece. I shaved out the tow-hook cover on the front bumper, too.
Brembo calipersare cool but stuck out too far for my track wheels. So I went with Stoptechs for frontswith 3.0 rear upgrade, too.
I remember the chipped days on a K03. You gotta get a bigger turbo.
