Just as the title states. I have installed a cone filter on a B5 without the secondary air injection pump with no problems. What should I do with the pipe for the pump?

 

I forgot to update this, but I figured out what to do once I looked up what the purpose of a Secondary Air Injection Pump was. I installed the cone air filter like normal, and placed a small breather filter in the Secondary Air Injection Pump's piping. Works like a charm. I can post pictures for those who are interested.

 

That is what needs to be done, all of the intake kits for the 2000+ A4 1.8t includes a small filter for the SAI pump.

 

When I first posted this thread, I didnt know what the Secondary Air Injection Pump did. After some quick research, I figured out what its purpose is and made a plan from there, it was easy.
