How about the TPMS Warning Symbol?
I don't doubt your response as the tire dealer said there isn't any. However, ever since the transmission on my 2002 A4 3.0 Quattro was rebuilt, the Tire Pressure warning symbol has been on. The transmission shop said they didn't touch anything inside the tire. Could this be a coincidence or if there isn't a monitor, what does this warning light indicate? I guessed they might have messed up the receiver or that the system is mechanical and uses the transmission to detect the smaller diameter of a tire with lower air pressure. Any ideas?

Ooops, wrong Symbol
My bad. My old eyes have deceived me. Upon looking more closely, it appears the warning symbol that remains lit is the automatic HID Headlight Leveling System, not the TPMS.
Is it possible that this was caused by something the mechanics did while they rebuilt the transmission? If so, what could they have done and what needs to be done to fix it? Or is there a way to disable the warning?

Thanks for the reply. I must have missed the email notification that this was answered and then hurricane Sandy knocked out my internet for 8 days.
Where would I look for these wires? The Audi dealer will charge way too much to fix this. Plus I don't want to spend much on a car that's only worth $1,500.
