Well, the B6's are still a great buy in terms of reasonable street price, low mileage examples still available and they are the last remaining (2004 model) A4's to carry the 100,000 mile warranty if you buy Certified Pre Owned. If you work at an Audi dealer, you may already know that after 2004 the warranty started to exclude items like the battery, wipers, brakes, loaner car. Do your research!!!!
Plus the B6's look much better from the back side and have a body style that wont look dated in 5 more years (I think the B5's are starting to look a little dated)

i think the b6 ultrasport is one of the cleanest looking cars audi has every made... it will carry its good looks for years to come...
however the engine on the b6 is soooooooooo pitifully weak... a 2.0t with just a chip would be even or faster than a fully supported k04 b6 and it has the speed sensitive steering which is pretty kewl... just decide whats right for you

Our '03 B-6 was great to 100,000 miles. Now it's falling apart and costing me a fortune. Just keep that in mind...

Did you take good care of it and not brake hard/drive hard? Make snap turns instead of easing into the turns and picking good lines??? Driving habits account for allot of a cars wear and tear.
I just traded my B5 in for a B6 A4 a little over a month ago. I love the B6 styling, I'll agree the B5 is starting to look a little dated. The interior styling is better than the B5s for sure. I do feel as though my B6 is slower than my B5 stock, but just throw a chip in either and you'll be much happier. Good luck with whatever you get, they're both fun cars to drive...
