Default Dead Pedal

Hey hope you can help me with this. The other day i was driving along and all of a sudden i lost all throtle control. i shifted gear and again in cut out. Engina was still runing fine and i didn.t lose any electronic power. I also noticed that i was happening between 2500 and 3500 rpm even with the ESP off. Sometime happens when turning corners. not sure if it was a cold engine or a ESP issue or what. please help if you can.
