Question drowning

i own a 2002 audi a4 quattro 5 speed 1.8t with a hydra complex, and im not new to cars, every time i fix one problem more pop up and they keep getting more complex. I just experienced a wierd traction control light on the highway on my way to work, after a few minutes the epc light came on and no boost? i just vagcommed my car and got alot more than what i was excpecting and unfortuneately my friend who got me into audis baled on me, i love my car but i need to fix it help!!

Wow,

Well i would start with a brake light switch and a evap purge valve. Delete your faults and see what happens. I see those are two definate problems.

sounds also like u went into limp mode. Perhaps a vac leak is also in this list of problems and also just out of curiousty has your drivers side carpet ever felt wet to the touch after rain?

no wet carpet, i have kept thinking i have to have a weak connecition somewhere but i dont know where, since i can clear all codes and drive it almost 600 miles before anything pops up

im shopping around for the brake light switch and the evap valve, any reasonings behind the two im trying to gain insight so maybe oneday i dont have to ask stupid questions and maybe answer some thank you
