Default Free flow exhaust?

For a BT upgrage, like the GT2X or the GTRS, I know I need a "free flow exhaust" but what is meant by that? I have a B & B Triflow, which is the exact same dimensions as an APR exhaust. Does it need to be bigger than that or is that sufficient?

Thanks

for the GT28 your exhaust should be fine. i am talking with mike@ DTH putting together my 3076r kit. and 3" is plenty for that. i assume if your is the same dimension as the APR it is 2.75" or 3". so it is more then ok.

hope that helps
