A problem has developed with my screen demister. Although the blower seems to be working, air isn't blowing on to the screen which is just great in this cold weather!! The heater seems to work perfectly in all other positions. I have a feeling that this might be a "flap problem" but haven't got a clue how to sort it. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess we're on our owns here.
From what I found, flushing the heater core is a common procedure that needs to be done on our a4's because the heating system likes to collect air pockets.

Probably the best place for us to start. I'll most likely get that done at a local shop for around $50 as far as I know.
