GIAC re-program

GIAC re-program
Hi guys,
I have a GIAC chip on my B6 1.8 Avant. The car was chipped with the stocks bolted on with the exception of a cat-back exhaust and a Forge DV.
I am currently upgrading to a test pipe, FMIC, RC 440 injectors, and a K04 down the line (1-2 months time)
My question:
Once I have bolted all the upgrades on, how do I go about updating my GIAC tune? I know that here in Houston there are 2 authorized GIAC tuning shops that do the work. Do they have to send the ECU to GIAC directly to solder a new chip, or do they tune it in shop? Has anyone upgraded their GIAC tune like I am planning on doing so? What should I be expecting in price? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Since you know you have two options local to you to get the work done, why not just give them a call for a quote and some basic info on the process? Seems like that'd get you your answer faster and more accurately than polling the people here...
